Immersion is an immersive experience engaging audiences around the healing modality of meditation while centering QPOC and BIPOC identified people in earth forward locations. Since its debut in 2022 at Elastic Arts Foundation, Immersion is a way to show gratitude to healing processes, and to share in devising ways to heal through conflict and space related challenges. Participants are invited to experience affirmations of ‘home’ as a diasporiacally embodied current where healing occurs whilst enjoying holistic wellness services. Meditations are interpreted with a focus on movement and sonic vibrations.  Immersion incorporates meditations including sitting-style, dance, conjure, and other forms. Immersion offers vulnerability in devising healing journeys publicly to inspire others to explore and share healing praxis.
